Giant Microsoft Patch Tuesday

Next week Microsoft is planning a new Massive Patch Tuesday with about 17 bulletins covers 64 vulnerabilities in Windows Operating System and Components , Microsoft office , Internet Explorer, Visual Studio, .NET Framework and GDI+.

9 of the 17 bulletins are critical and 8 are important , we are expecting that Microsoft going to fix the famous MHTML vulnerability one of the most current bug widely exploited by hackers with an available code in the wide.

MHTML vulnerability has been firstly announced by Google Security team after that they noticed some highly targeted and apparently politically motivated attacks against their users. They have also seen attacks against users of another popular social site. All these attacks abuse a publicly-disclosed MHTML vulnerability for which an exploit was publicly posted in January 2011. Users browsing with the Internet Explorer browser are affected.

But on the other hand their still no information about an Internet Explorer update for the multiple bugs used in the winning CanSecWest Pwn2Own exploit.

All Microsoft security update can be downloaded and installed via the Windows Update and Microsoft Update services, as well as through Windows Server Update Services.
